Doesn’t it always seem like the first thing our kids want to do when they get home from school is eat?

We want to make them happy but also keep them healthy. Sometimes thinking about what to put together is stressful, to say the least. So we put together some ideas for you to whip up something delicious in no time!

Pita Nachos

Easy as one, two, three! All you need for this simple and delicious snack are pita chips, cheese of your choice, salsa, and guacamole if you so please! Throw these guys into the oven at 350 for 10 minutes, and voila! Pita nachos are sure to be a crowd (and kid) pleaser!

Ants on a Log

A classic for a reason! We all know how to prepare this, but just as a refresher you will need: celery, peanut butter, and raisins. That’s it! Put the peanut butter on the celery and top it with raisins. This is a healthy and fun way to treat your hungry kids!

Ham and Cheese Wrapped Apple Wedges

Another apple treat! We suggest using red apples for the chocolate granola apple wedges, and Granny Smith wedges for these! Wrap some ham and cheddar cheese around those bad boys, and…bam! You’ve got yourself a delicious and easy after school treat.
