Slick on a formula with SPF of at least 15 underneath lip balm or lip gloss to prevent thinning, dryness, and sun spots.
3. Use Sunscreen to Protect Hair
Before swimming comb sunscreen through your hair. This will help prevent chlorine and salt water damage which can strip the color from your hair and dry it out.
4. Boost Post-Sun Hydration
Reduce UV induced dryness by from sun exposure by slathering clean skin with moisturizer, and covering skin with damp warm towel. The heat will help activate the lotion’s ingredients.
5. Choose Metal-Free Hair Bands
Avoid ponytail holders that are joined with a metal bar. They can snag hair and cause split ends, especially when hair is wet and weaker after swimming.
