After a long day of work, you’re probably sitting on the train home and just feel dirty. I think it happens to almost all of us. You take out that bag of chips you’ve been dying to eat but your hands are not clean. You think about the last time you washed your hands, which may have been this morning when you brushed your teeth!  The bag of chips can’t be opened because your hands are not clean. How inconvenient? This is where hand sanitizer comes in. Most hand sanitizers are light weight and easy to carry around. So don’t forget to buy one for yourself today!

One of the most crucial thing to do before or after almost anything is to wash your hands. One of the most common ways that people get sick is by catching germs from others.  Every time you shake someone’s hand, you’re at risk to catch their germs. Therefore, be careful so you don’t get sick this summer!

Avoid Touching Your Mouth, Eyes, or Nostrils

The easiest places for germs to enter into your body are from the mouth, eyes and nostrils. When touching these areas try not to do it in public.  This is because if you are wiping your eyes on the street you most likely touched something or someone right before and haven’t had time to wash your hands yet.

It’s that time of year again where everyone is outside and hanging out. For some people that is boating, swimming in the ocean or hiking in the woods.  When people finish their hike and go back to their car what is the first thing they look for? It’s always ticks. There are so many insects in the forest that can make people very sick so we try to avoid them.  The best way to avoid these insects is by wearing a lot of clothing. It’s extremely hard for these tiny insects to penetrate the skin if your wearing layers of clothing because they can’t get inside.

Watch What You Eat

Be careful with what you eat! We eat under-cooked or even raw food all the time and don’t realize how many germs they have. Next time you order a steak or even a roll of sushi be careful and be aware of what you are eating. Make sure that what you are putting in your body wont hurt you one day.
