Facebook, Twitter and Your Smiley Missions

Edited by: Angelica on 7/19/18

Hey there! We hope you appreciated learning about Missions, Points & Badges—Smiley360 Explained. We’ll now be focusing on why and how to use the Facebook and Twitter Sharing Tools.

So without further ado…

The Power of Facebook

We think it’s safe to assume that you’re one of over a billion people with a Facebook account, and that you use it to stay connected with friends and family both near and far. Facebook is a great way to stay in touch and keep people updated with what you’re doing, including what latest brands you’re putting to the test!

When you qualify for a new Mission, you can immediately start sharing about your excitement and tell your Facebook friends about the product you’re going to receive.

Posting to Facebook from Smiley360 looks like this:

Simply type what you want to share with friends in the box, then scroll down and click ‘Share’ at the bottom of the page.

Make Like a Bird and Tweet!

Next, you can use the Twitter Sharing Tool to tweet to your followers. Just keep in mind to watch the 140 character limit because we’ll most likely automatically insert text including a hashtag, some words about the brand and a link to more information or a coupon for the product.

Don’t Be That Person

When posting to all your social media profiles about your Smiley Mission, make sure you’re sharing something your friends and followers will want to see. We all have that one friend who constantly over-shares—don’t let that be you!

Continue to post to Facebook and Twitter every time you have something new to share throughout your Mission. However, we ask that you do not post more than once in an hour – so once you post, you will see a timer counting down 60 minutes until you can post again.

What’s Included

Your Mission will often have a coupon, sweepstakes or other offer about the product. These are automatically inserted into every post, so all your friends can check it out!

You’ll also notice that every post has a disclosure statement to say that you’ve received a product for free from Smiley360. It’s the law to fully disclose if you were compensated by a company. Smiley360 is an active member of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) to make sure we abide by all requirements so we don’t get in trouble, and you and the brand don’t either!

That’s it for this week. Leave your questions in the comments below. We’re here to help!

  1. I am happy to sample the orajel cold sore medicine  my husband occationaly gets a cold sore once a year

  2. It would be great to have a free sample from Smiley360 of Orajel I never know when I need to use this and this product is great!

    1. DaphneWynterGray  Hi Daphne! I’m sorry but I don’t fully understand your question. Do you mean to say that you’re doing your Trial Mission? It’s important to complete this will all 50 Smiles, so that when you get a mission to try a real product (for free!), you will know exactly what to do 🙂

  3. I love using smiley360. It helps with all the little free samples that we get in the mail. Pulse you can read all these different review  that everyone writes about the products. And the review can help you make a decision on if you want to buy the products or not.

  4. The way ya’ll explain it makes it seem really easy. I am going to use all the information to earn smiles to be able to get the good missions.

  5. I totally missed the Children’s Advil party. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it yet, my daughter hasn’t needed it. I think that will change in the next few days because I now am sick. The full blown FLU. along with a touch of pneumonia in my right lung. I just noticed the date and had to share I only wish it was on something more joyous.

  6. I got a mission for childrens mussinex and it really helped my daughter I will reccomend it and buy it! Thanks for the chance to try it it really works!!

  7. I have had a few missions, but have not received my product (free) yet, so excited to get them in the mail and try them. Look foward to having a lot of missions and free trail samples to report back on, and to share with family and friends. My opinon everyone should be a member of this, I mean who wouldn’t want to be able to try thing before you have to purchase it to see if you like it or not.

  8. Am I doing something wrong. I’m not getting any missions or samples to try..I love telling people if something us great or not. I even tell the salesclerjs in the store..thank you.

  10. I loved my experience! The associate was very up to date on his knowledge of The Sleep products. My sleep number was a 45 and I loved it so much.. My husband and I are looking more into purchasing one in the near future. I had a great experience and would do it all over again.

  11. This technology is like no other. When I walked into the store, I figured I’d go in,check things out,and be done in about 15 minutes. Well, that wasn’t the case! I was there for over an hour! My sales assoc Linda was so down to earth and knowledgeable. We went from bed to bed, learning what the difference was between all of them and what would be beneficial to me. I brought along with me a cool fit pillow(the one that they give you to sample in store) and I absolutely loved it paired with the beds! The SleepIQ is truly an amazing piece of technology linked with the bed, I couldn’t believe it could do the things it does! It not only knows your every movement,it also knows when you are snoring, your breathes per minute, and what adjustments need to be made with your side of the bed(your SleepIQ number) Mine was a 40,and let me tell you, this was so incredibly comfortable,I didn’t want to get up. When the bed adjusts to your specific number,it is so gradual that it’s like nothing is really happening. I went home and talked to my husband in depth about this ingenius invention. The price tag isn’t cheap, definitely an investment. We have now set up a little savings jar for the bed! I cannot wait to own one along with my CoolFit Contour Foam pillow!!

  12. just  recieved my smilley  360 package with with my Nescafe with coffee mate… they sent me Hazenutt a full  12 ounce  one  plus 3 coupons for  3 ,more 12 oz containers of the 2 in 1 coffee + creamer…. I think  this will make my life a bit easier as I wont have to  worry about running out of creamer…

  13. Just received my FREE creamer from smiley360 plus a coupon for another 12 oz. free. Thanks smiley360. I have never tried the hazelnut creamer, but thanks to you I will now. Can’t wait for more free items to try, and more missions.

  14. Found out I’ve failed my last 5 missions because I don’t share on Twitter. I do all the other requirements, usually getting more points than required but I never knew you HAD to share on BOTH Facebook or Twitter. Even this blog post doesn’t say that.
Now I don’t get mission surveys. What am I supposed to do to fix this?
I’m waiting to hear back from my emails to see if they’re is anything I can do.
    I’m really upset about this.

  15. I just love free stuff and trying new brands of products to buy smiley 360 is one of the online sites you can try free products by brand leading companies for free and also give your opinion on how the product is I just love smiley 360

  16. Vanessa Due I’m in the same boat. I don’t use Twitter & really don’t want to get an account just for this purpose.  I’m only on my second mission, so it might have to be my last unless there’s a solution to this issue.

  17. This was very informative and answered a lot of questions. I don’t blog however. Will this hurt my point collecting?

  18. Signed up for 3 missions today & shared on facebook & twitter. Can’t wait to start testing & giving feed back to earn points, also received 2 badges!

  19. I became a member about a week ago. I’ve been checking in and sharing that I’m a member and how easy it is to recieve free products. However, ppl have liked and shared my post but it’s not updated on my first mission.

  20. I am a bit confused.  Are we supposed to share and post to Facebook and Twitter BEFORE we receive and try the product or both?
