Tell us about yourself, your family and where you live!

Together with my husband of 27 years, three nearly grown daughters in their 20s, my energetic and zany mother, and our 2 year old Shih-Tzu Theo, we have a very busy household. I maintain the computer lab and library at our local middle school, and also work part time evenings in our neighborhood library.  The sunny South Bay in Southern California is home to us, with beaches, parks, shopping and restaurants all in close radius.

How did you discover Smiley360?

I’m always perusing the Internet for things of interest and happened to stumble upon the Smiley360 site. I scoped it out and joined in April of 2012.

What’s your favorite thing about being a Smiley member?

I love the chance to be able to try out new products and share my opinions with families all over the world.

What has been your favorite Smiley Mission you have ever done and why?

I’m fortunate enough to have been chosen for many Missions over the past two years, so it’s hard to choose just one favorite.  I’ll have to mention a couple – one would definitely be the Knorr Homestyle Stock Mission because I was able to incorporate the Knorr stock into a couple “family favorite” recipes and got rave reviews from the family! Another good one was the Sleep Number DualTemp Mission – I really enjoyed checking out the Dual Temp pad at the Sleep Number stores.  The salesman was awesome- very patient and friendly, and I qualified to receive a really cool pillow!

How do you share when you’re on a Mission?

I try to take advantage of all the avenues of communication – if used correctly, the Internet can be a great way to network.  I share my thoughts via Twitter, Facebook, e-mail, LinkedIn, Pinterest and of course- person to person.

Do you think it is important for brands to listen to their customers? Why?

I do believe that brands can benefit from the feedback of consumers because it is very important to hear first-hand whether or not a product met the needs of the consumer and why or why not. This information allows brands to continue to provide a quality product. If a product requires improvement or modification and the brands are aware, then everyone benefits.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Going to Maine would be awesome. I could experience a traditional lobster bake. Shopping and sightseeing would be great, too, but I’d like to just hang out on the beaches enjoying huge lobsters and corn!

What brands or products would you love to see on a Smiley Mission soon? 

For me, anything that I could sample in the kitchen would be great.  I really enjoy cooking and am always keeping my eye out for new flavors and products.
