Here at Smiley360, we love our community–which is why we’re setting aside some time each month to recognize and appreciate the members who help make our community the amazing place it is!

This month, Smiley member Lisa B. caught our attention, between her great activity in the Smiley Community, and her creative social media posting. So, we’ve decided to get to know her a little better!

Here’s what we’ve learned about Lisa:

How long have you been a Smiley360 member, and what’s your favorite thing about being a part of the Smiley Community?

I’ve been a Member of the Smiley Community for a little over a year. My favorite thing about being a member is getting the chance to try new products for free and share my experience with others!

What has been your favorite Smiley Mission ever, and why?

I’m torn between Mucinex Fast Max Clear & Cool and Arm & Hammer Baking Soda. The Mucinex Mission came at the perfect time, as everyone became sick at the same time and the product worked fast!

The Arm & Hammer Mission exposed me to new ways to use baking soda–my favorite being deep cleaning (without the hard work!)

What’s your favorite way to share on a Mission and why?

My favorite Sharing Tool is Instagram because I have more Instagram followers than friends on Facebook! On Instagram, I can tag the brands I feature in my posts and add plenty of hashtags. Plus, it’s easier to find other Smiley360 members on Instagram and see what Missions they’re posting about!

When you try out brand products, your opinion counts–not only for other consumers, but also for the brand! Why do you feel it’s important for brands to listen to their consumers?

Our opinions can provide brands with insight to what’s right or what needs improvement–that’s a given. If a consumer has a negative experience with a brand’s product, the brand should become aware of this so that they can address the problem.

On the other hand, positive consumer experiences let the brand know that consumers are happy and like the direction the brand is heading in. Sometimes, new products are inspired by consumers, like potato chip flavors or limited time items!

What is your best tip for sharing quality posts when you’re on a Mission?

My best tip is to provide a truthful experience and not be afraid to share a negative one–the brand might even reach out to get more insight from your negative experience. Another tip is to use bullet points–not everyone is a professional writer, but it is always important to express your thoughts!

When taking photos, it’s important to feature the brand. For example, when testing a toothpaste, take an action photo that features the toothpaste (in use, on your toothbrush!)

My final tip is to always tag both the brand and Smiley360, and add hashtags that go along with the Mission. For example, if you are reviewing candy, use hashtags like #food and #sweets!

What brands or products would you love to see on an upcoming Mission?

I would love to see a Mission featuring organic or all-natural shampoo and conditioner.

I’m a big fan of brands like Tom’s of Maine, Trolli Candy, Kraft, General Mills, Special K, Bear Naked, and Nature’s Path!

My fun fact is that I have nine tattoos, but I am afraid of needles!
