Level 4 member Sandy took the time to tell us about her experience with Smiley360.
Tell us about yourself, your family and where you live!
I’m a stay at home mom going on 3 years now. Previous to that I worked at a communication/technology company in finance for over 10 years. I have a 13 year old son. I’ve been married for 8 years to a wonderful man. I enjoy entering contests and am totally addicted to Facebook and being able to test and try out new products and give my opinions. I’ve won a lot of contests, such as a new laptop computer, a trip to LA (plus met Sara Bareilles at her concert), Xbox 360 w/ Kinect system, an iPad, concert tickets and a meet and greet with Rihanna and so much more! I love to use coupons and any other way to save money. I think I’m passing that skill down to my son as he is always on the look out for a sale or free coupons at the store. I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, camping and just spending time outdoors. I’ve lived in Fremont, CA for practically my whole life. It’s close to the beaches and the mountains and the weather cant be beat! We are about 40 miles south west from San Francisco and to the south of us, 20 minutes away is San Jose.
How did you discover Smiley360?
I cannot really remember exactly how I even discovered Smiley360, but I’m glad I did. I’m guessing I probably saw a post on Facebook from a blogger and then I joined.
What do you like about being a Smiley member?
I really like to try out products and give an honest opinion about it.
What has been your favorite Smiley mission you have ever done and why?
Hmm I’ve had so many missions but I’m thinking my favorite one has to be the SLEEP NUMBER® m9 Bed Mission. I really enjoyed going to the store and actually testing out the bed. I’ve never been on a Sleep Number bed. The most exciting part of that mission was getting the awesome Sleep Number pillow that I use everyday and absolutely love! I would have loved to win an actual Sleep Number Bed, but getting the pillow made me happy!
How do you share when you’re on a mission?
I share on Twitter, Facebook and mostly in person whether its just at my parents house, my friends’ houses and any other place I feel the need to bring up the topic (stores, get-togethers, etc).
Do you think it is important for brands to listen to their customers? Why?
Of course! We tell them what we want and they should provide us or at least try to provide what we want – or else we will look elsewhere. We are the ones that keep them in business or drive them into the ground, so without us, they are nothing.
Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?
I’d say Rachael Ray. I admire her and she’s an all around great person. She’s smart and always has something interesting to talk about.
What brands or products could you not live without?
I could not live without shampoo (got to be able to wash my hair), my toothbrush (got to brush, brush, brush), antiperspirant/deodorant (no one wants to smell bad), my laptop (My laptop has done so much for me, it would be sad to let it go), a scrunchie (yes I still use them) so that I have to have a way to keep my hair off of my face. I think that’s it…oh yes, 1 more item, leave in conditioner.
