July is best known for it’s main event at the start of the month-Independence Day but did you know that July is filled with weird and interesting commemorations? July is actually named after Julius Caesar who was responsible for not only moving the month, but also lengthening it by a day. For all the summer food lovers out there, keep in mind that July is:

  • National Hot Dog Month
  • National Blueberry Month
  • National Baked Beans Month
  • National Ice Cream Month

If you prefer to celebrate something different everyday during the month of July, here are a few options:

  • July 14-Storming of the Bastille
  • July 20-Moon Day
  • July 22-Hammock Day

  • July 29-Lasagna Day

Whatever the day, find a reason to celebrate the summer however possible!
