It’s almost beach weather time!
Which, unfortunately for those of us who overindulged in our favorite comfort foods this winter, means it’s the dreaded bathing suit season. It’s time to break out the shorts, tank tops, and bikinis.
Not to worry though – we have some tips for you to get back in shape in no time!
Start Doing Light Exercise
You don’t need to be a fitness enthusiast, or even have a access to a gym to make small changes towards a healthier body. You can do something as simple as take the stairs instead of the elevator, or take your dog for a long, brisk walk in the beautiful spring weather. (They’ll thank you for it!)

Stop Eating Fast Food!
We know that life on the go sometimes doesn’t leave much time for cooking all of your meals. But making a small change like cutting out fast food can make a world of difference! Cut out fast food and watch your waistline shrink just in time for the warmer months.

Eliminate Soda
While you’re at it, try eliminating soda too. Even diet sodas are bad for you! Try going instead for water, and if you’re hankering for some flavor, try Crystal Light or MiO.

Eat More Meals
Eating portion controlled, small meals throughout the day instead of three big meals will keep you fuller longer and give your metabolism the boost it needs to whip into shape! Fruits and veggies and raw almonds are great snacks to reach for instead of junk food. Eat a piece of dark chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Remember to Have a Cheat Day!
It’s important not to be too hard on yourself and allow one day to indulge. We don’t recommend going overboard, but let yourself have a piece of chocolate cake one day a week – for your sanity!

I think all of these are really great, basic tips anyone can follow! You don’t have to be a nutritionist to be healthy and to eat well. Just use common sense and more than anything LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! Learn when enough is enough, Exercise, don’t eat fast food because that is never good! And don’t deprive yourself, you’re more likely to stick to a change in eating style if you don’t deprive yourself.
ShannonPessin You are so right! Listening to your body is key!

Exercise more, Eat healthy! Exercising 3x a week is great. I personally also like using Pinterest and I like creating my own 30 Day Poster to keep tract of my exercises that I do weekly. That’s a great motivation. Keeping tract of your eating!! Watch out on what you eat. If you’re going to eat sweet once a week is ok. Eat smartU0001f353U0001f34e
